Hello! We are Sasha Rae and Tameka Shay, independent artists based in Baltimore, Maryland.

For as long as we can remember, in one form or another, art has had a profound impact on our lives. It’s allowed us to creatively express ourselves without limit. We like to say that paint pour is like a metaphor for letting go and accepting things as they're meant to be.

SunRae Visuals was created out of love which is why we call what we do pouring with a passion.

WHAT WE DO

We pride ourselves in the fact that no two pieces are ever exactly the same. SunRae Visuals is about bringing our customers' visions to life through art that inspires. We’re best known for our unique paint pours, functional resin decor, wearable art, and interactive art classes.

Although we create items that inspire us as the artists, customization is at the core of what we do. We can pour on canvas, wood, metal–almost anything! Some of our best creations have started as ideas from the minds of our customers.

My journey in the world of art began at a very young age, inspired by Georgia O'Keefe, Frida Kahlo, and many others the vibrant culture and artistic expressions captivated me. When I'm not immersed in the art studio, you can find me playing with my pets, binge watching a documentary or tv show, or trying a new hobby.

TAMEKA

Hailing from the artistic roots of Pittsburgh, PA, my creative journey was sparked by frequent visits to the Andy Warhol museum. The vibrant works of Andy, coupled with the bold expressions of Jean-Michel Basquiat and the empowering spirit of Frida Kahlo, became my muses.

Beyond the canvas, you'll often find me exploring the virtual world in Sims 4, delving into captivating documentaries and true crime shows, or embarking on a new art skill.
